Tara Leigh Wassum and Damon Marc Dell’Armo, both of Florence, were married at 5 p.m. Oct. 20, 2007, at Central United Methodist Church.
William F. Malambri III performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Dana R. Wassum of Castlerock, Colo., and Kathleen Wassum-Hamel of Winter Park, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Marjorie Wassum and the late Dale Wassum of Johnstown, Pa., and the late George and Faye Royal of Winter Park.
She is employed as a controller with Newsome Automotive.
The groom is the son of Caryle Hayek of Florence and the late Nicholas Dell’Armo and is the stepson of Judy Dell’Armo of Florence. He is the grandson of the late Ernest and Frances Piombino of New York and the late Nicholas and Rachel Dell’Armo, also of New York.
He is employed by Champion Amusement.
Maid of honor was Leah Wassum, sister of the bride.
Matron of honor was Ashley Coates-Wynn.
Best man was Christopher Dell’Armo, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Nikki Dell’Armo, Lauren Dell’Armo and Lindsay Dell’Armo, all sisters of the groom.
Groomsmen were Marc Wassum and Dale Wassum, brothers of the bride; Robert Guffey, brother-in-law of the groom; and Shane Rogers.
Flower girl was Jenna Stone.
Ring bearer was Ty Christmas, nephew of the groom.
Acolyte was Nina Foster, cousin of the bride.
Wedding director was Patsy McLeod.
Music director was William Mills.
A reception followed at Osbornes in Florence, with music by DJ Billy Cook.
After a wedding trip to Cancún, Mexico, the couple will live in Florence.
