Georgetown Hospital flu clinics

Georgetown Hospital System is holding a flu vaccine clinic on Wednesday, December 12 from 7:00-10:30 a.m. at HealthPoint Center for Fitness and Health. Flu Shots are $20. Georgetown Hospital System ia also sponsoring two special drive-through flu vaccine clinics in December, allowing participants to receive a flu shot without leaving their vehicle. The clinics will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 13 at Waccamaw Community Hospital and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 17 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Participants at the Waccamaw Community Hospital flu clinic should drive under the canopy at the Same Day Surgery entrance, to the left of the hospital's main entrance. For the clinic to be held at Georgetown Memorial Hospital, participants should enter on Memorial Lane, drive to the back of the campus, turn right and take an immediate right into a parking lot area to the west of the Education Building. Participants will be registered, pay and receive the vaccine without leaving their vehicle. Flu Shots are $20. Medicare is accepted, but cards must be presented prior to receiving the flu shot.
