Mr. and Mrs. James T. Schofield of Florence announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Armstrong Schofield, to Michael John Hopla, son of Dr. Dan Hopla and Linda Hopla, both of Florence.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Armstrong Jr., Charles S. Schofield of Florence and the late Elizabeth C. Schofield. She is a graduate of
Florence-Darlington Technical College and is employed with Carolinas Hospital Systems.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Renn of Tampa, Fla., and Dr. Cluff Hopla of Norman, Okla. He is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College and is employed with McLeod Regional Health.
The wedding will be Dec. 15, 2007, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Florence.
