Jennifer Dawn Smith of Coward and Glen Edward Coleman Jr. of Scranton were married at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Calvary Baptist Church in Lake City.
The Rev. Steve Eargle performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her stepfather, is the daughter of Wanda Hayes Smith and Michael B. Puckett of Coward and Bobby and Patricia Smith of Effingham.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carolyn Smith Knight of Daytona Beach, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Waymon “Jay” and Ida Mae Hayes of Florence and the late William “Bill” Smith of Columbia.
She is employed by Florence County as a procurement officer.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen and Martha Coleman of Scranton. He is the grandson of Mrs. Virginia Smoak and the late Rufus F. Smoak of Lake City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude B. and Athleen Coleman of Scranton.
He is employed with the Florence County Emergency Management.
Maid of honor was Miss Laceye Parrott.
Best man was Glen Coleman Sr., father of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Miss Tabitha Coleman, daughter of the groom; Miss Tara Alexander, cousin of the bride; Miss Deanna Cannon; and Miss Lindsey Ward.
Groomsmen were Mr. Chris Coleman, brother of the groom; Mr. Brandon Puckett, brother of the bride; Mr. Justin Alexander, cousin of the bride; and Mr. Chris Steger.
Usher was Mr. Josh Hayes, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Miss Caton McClam, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Master Austin Coleman, nephew of the groom.
Program attendants were Miss Kaylon Minter and Miss Kimberly Knotts. Musician was Mr. Kevin Hancock and Mrs. Faith Godwin. Soloist was Miss Kristin Shannon.
The reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church. After a wedding trip to the Eastern Caribbean, the couple will live in Scranton.
