Mr. and Mrs. Edward William Beck Jr. of Hartsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Lee Beck, to John Eric Sullivan, son of Ms. Karla Huggins Sullivan of Little River and the late Eric Sherwood Sullivan of Florence.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Lee Byrd of Darlington and the late Harry Gladwin Byrd, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward William Beck Sr. of Hartsville. She is a graduate of Emmanuel Baptist School in Hartsville and Florence-Darlington Technical College with a degree in nursing. She is employed by Wilson Senior Care of Darlington.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Peggy Mitchell Huggins of Darlington and the late Alton Lafay Huggins, and Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Marion Sullivan of Florence. He is a graduate of Darlington High School and is employed by Sonoco Products in Hartsville.

The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at North Hartsville Baptist Church in Hartsville.
