Drexell and Jean Turner of Florence announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Annette Turner, to John William Gainey, son of Donald and Charlene Bryant of Marion.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Gladys Pitts of
Florence, Mrs. Nolia Turner of Hannah, and the late Drexell and Dora Turner of Hannah. She is a graduate of Francis Marion University and the Medical University of South Carolina. She is employed by McLeod Medical Center Dillon
The groom-elect is the grandson of Frank and Bonita Shaw of Marion. He is employed by Smurfit-Stone Container.
The wedding will be March 1, 2008, at Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Florence.
