Robin Miranda Welch of New Zion and Timothy Wade Coker of Turbeville were married at 6 p.m. Dec. 8, 2007, at First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Carven performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex L. Welch of New Zion. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carson Welch of Turbeville, and Kathleen Welch and the late Hagard Welch of Turbeville.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education and is employed by Florence School District 3.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Coker of Turbeville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wiley McElveen of Turbeville, and Mrs. Virginia Coker and the late Randolph Coker of Turbeville.
He received his associate’s degree in environmental engineering and is employed by Coca-Cola Consolidated.
Matron of honor was Teress Edge, sister of the bride.
Best man was Ronald Coker, father of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Boyington; Lori Ann Coker, sister-in-law of the groom; and Gracelyn Coker, niece of the groom.
Groomsmen were Wes Coker, brother of the groom, and Chris Edge, brother-in-law of the bride.
A reception followed at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church in Turbeville.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will live in Turbeville.
