FRIDAY

8th Annual Hartsville Family Fireworks Festival at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Hartsville; 6 to 10 p.m. Fireworks start about 9:15 p.m. Events include carnival, venders, kids section, entertainment, eating contests and more. Cohosted by Hartsville Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by LifeCare Hospice, NUCOR, Raceway Automotive and Sonoco.

SATURDAY

Spirit of Florence Celebration at Red Wolves Stadium, Florence. Pre-game concert with Midlife Crisis at 5 p.m. All-American free fall parachute team prior to the game. Fireworks after the game. Gates open at 4 p.m. Sponsored by Chick-Fil-A.

MONDAY

Fireworks Over the Inlet, Marshwalk, Murrells Inlet. 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Grab a blanket, bring the family and enjoy. Festivities begin at 8 a.m. with Marshwalk breakfast specials. Boat parade at 10 a.m. Live music all day. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.
4th of July Salute From the Shore: Military Flyover of S.C. Coast, a flyover of four F-16s that will stretch the entire length of South Carolina’s coast. Four members of the 77th Fighter Squadron “The Gamblers” of the 20th Fighter Wing based at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter will provide the flyover. Participants on the shore will be encouraged to salute the flyover by wearing and waving red, white, and blue. The salute will be visible from every beach in South Carolina. It will start at the North Carolina state line at 1 p.m. and fly south, ending at Hilton Head Island at 1:20 p.m. Participants’ salute from the beaches will be captured on videotape from helicopter to be shared with soldiers later.
Independence Day Celebration, Second Avenue Pier, Myrtle Beach. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Anywhere along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk or adjacent beachfront will provide excellent viewing.
Surfside Beach Independence Day Celebration, Surfside Pier, Surfside Beach. Food, inflatables and water pool slide, entertainment, free watermelon and ice cream. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Sponsored by the town of Surfside.
Independence Day Celebration at Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, North Myrtle Beach. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular, Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach. Live music at Celebrity Square. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.
Independence Day Celebration, Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach. Fireworks start at 10:15 p.m.
