Local luthier and music shop, BA Ferguson and Florence based independent record label Yonder Music will host a special holiday concert Saturday featuring several local musicians.
The BA Ferguson Christmas Spectacular will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday at Frets and Necks Guitar Repair and Luthery, 112 W. Carolina Ave. in Hartsville.
The concert will feature local artists who will perform their favorite original compositions, as well holiday music in a fun, old-time “variety show” format. The inaugural event will feature several popular local acts including Dylan Sneed, King’s Last Shot (acoustic), Mark Hagood and Out On Bond and some special guests.
Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
The event is open to the general public. Admission is free, but a $5 donation is suggested and will go directly to the performers.
Frets and Necks, SC is a stringed instrument and percussion music store. They sell stringed and percussion instruments and offer repairs from re-strings to full restorations of vintage and antique instruments.
Yonder Music is a Florence-based independent record label whose mission is to promote roots and Americana music, with a focus on Pee Dee regional talent.
Mac’s Lounge in Hartsville is also providing sponsorship support for the event.
