NORTH MYRTLE BEACH – Put on your green and join in the fun and festivities of the 22nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival on Saturday, March 13, on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.
The festival, which has FREE admission and is one of the largest North Myrtle Beach festivals, starts with the parade at 9 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m. with a street festival.
The festival kicks off with bands, floats, beauty queens and your favorite local celebrities parading down Main Street.
Festival goers can then enjoy arts and crafts like jewelry, paintings, wood carvings and more, along with fun festival food like sausage sandwiches, funnel cakes and ice cream.
Plus, there’s a children’s section full of rides and games for the wee lads and lasses.
The St. Patrick’s Day Festival really starts rockin’ as live entertainment hits its two stages.
The Hillside stage will feature Gaelstorm’s acoustic Irish tunes at 11 a.m., the Myrtle Beach Regional Pipe Band at noon, the Triple Toe Cloggers at 1 p.m. and Emerald Rose from 1:30-4 p.m.
The Oceanfront stage gets rockin’ at 11 a.m. with the North Myrtle Beach Ocean Wave Cloggers.
After the parade award announcements at 11:45 a.m., the Myrtle Beach Regional Pipe Band will take the stage at 12:30 p.m. Prodigals will play at 1 p.m. and at 2:15 p.m., the crowd can enjoy the North Myrtle Beach School of Performing Arts.
To round out the performances, Prodigals will return to the stage from 2:45-4 p.m.
