The FDDC Art Trail Gallery will be home to a citywide exhibit of student art from Dec. 4 through to Jan. 16. “Future Talents in the Present Tense” showcases the next generation of emerging artists in Florence. The student art exhibit has special hours and will open Friday, Dec. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Coinciding with the opening is “Affordably Unique! The Holiday Sale at the Art Trail Gallery.” Local artists have joined together to offer quality, handcrafted items for holiday giving. Paintings, jewelry, metalwork, silk, ceramics and more will be available.
In preparation for the student show, the Art Trail Gallery will be closed Monday, Nov. 30, through Thursday, Dec. 3. Please note that the Gallery’s regular hours will be changed effective Monday, Dec. 7. The new hours will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
