FLORENCE — Eyvette Haynesworth, data entry operator in Florence School District 1’s Office of Data Processing, recently earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Limestone College.
During her final semester at Limestone, Haynesworth achieved a perfect 4.0 academic grade point average and received the President’s Award for this accomplishment. She graduated cum laude with an overall final GPA of 3.52.
Haynesworth began her career in 1984 with Florence 1 at Lester Elementary School where she served as cafeteria bookkeeper and clerical assistant. She later worked at CHAMPUS from 1990 to 1992, and returned to Florence 1 in 1992 where she served as receptionist in the school administration building. In 1997, she transferred to the office of school food services where she served as an administrative assistant. In 2005, she relocated within the Florence 1 office to the data processing department.
Haynesworth enrolled at Limestone in 2006. She is the daughter of Kate Haynesworth and the late George Haynesworth. Her daughter, Jameka, is an art teacher in Sumter School District 2, and she has three siblings employed in Florence 1.
