Lee County Young Farmer and Agribusiness Chapter recognized

BISHOPVILLE — The Lee County Young Farmer and Agribusiness Chapter took top honors as the Outstanding Chapter in the Pee Dee region for 2009 at a recent state conference of agriculturalists in Charleston.

Chapter President Chris Bradham, an official with ArborOne Farm Credit, and professional advisor Beth W. Tolson, agricultural educator at Lee County Career Center, were presented with an engraved plaque and a cash award by Southern States Cooperative Inc.

Southern States Cooperative Inc. sponsors the recognition program in concert with the S.C. Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association.
