The S.C. Association of Nonprofit Organizations will offer its 2009 S.C. Nonprofit Legal Symposium in Columbia next month.
It will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 8 at the S.C. State Museum, 301 Gervais St.
The program will cover a broad range of topics including Drafting By-Laws and Policies, Statutory Requirements for Nonprofits, the S.C. Nonprofit Corp. Act, Employment Agreements and Ethics. There are seven hours of approved CLE credits for participants (five hours plus two hours of ethics).
The cost per SCANPO member is $135 with the S.C. Nonprofit Corporate Practice Manual, $75 without it. For others,the cost is $195 with the manual and $125 without it. Breakfast is included in the registration price.
