Chamber accepting award nominations

The Greater Darlington Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its Citizen of the Year, Community Pride, Lifetime Achievement and Small Business Person annual awards.

Only chamber members in good standing can submit nominations. Nominees can come from Darlington, Lamar and Society Hill, the areas served by the chamber, and don’t have to be members. The chamber’s board will vote on receipients, and nominations will be publicized by the chamber. Nominations without essays, essay that don’t meet the criteria, unsigned nominations or late nominations won’t be considered.

The nominations deadline is Dec. 4.
