Sonoco will increase prices in North America for all uncoated recycled paperboard grades by $40 per ton effective with shipments on Aug. 31, James Harrell, division vice president and general manager, Paper-North America, said in a press release issued Wednesday.
“The cost of recovered paper, our primary raw material, has increased significantly over the past several months along with other input costs which makes it essential that we begin recovering these higher costs,” Harrell said.
