Emerson Gower, Progress Energy’s Southern Region vice president, will be speak about hybrid technology at the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Fall Chamber Outlook Luncheon, scheduled for Thursday at Florence Civic Center.
During the program, the Business & Arts Partnership Award will be presented by Kathi Addison, president of the Florence Regional Arts Alliance.
During the 2008 Pee Dee Show Biz Business Expo, immediately after the luncheon, a Lending Workshop will be offered for $5 a person from 2 to 4 p.m.
The final event of the day, Business After Hours, will begin at 5:30 p.m. and offer further networking opportunities.
Registration for the luncheon will begin at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, with lunch and the program at noon.
Admission is $20 for chamber members and $30 for nonmembers. Registration is required.
