New local television program goes on air

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Swamp Fox Television, a new local cable television monthly magazine program, has begun airing on cable channel 4 in Florence and cable channel 6 in Hartsville.

Show times are 4:30, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. each day.

Swamp Fox Television is designed to inform, educate and entertain residents and visitors on the people, places, events and attractions of the Pee Dee. Tim Norwood is its founder and president.

“In my professional and personal travels across the nation I have always found a local community program highlighting the city or community which I visited. Knowing the Pee Dee region did not have any local programming of this nature, I saw an opportunity for this niche business venture,” Norwood said in a press release. “We currently have three shows airing seven days a week and due to the overwhelming response we plan on additional show times to the schedule.”
